Welcome to use the mobile game Warfront Squad (hereinafter referred to as the "Application"). This Privacy Policy is formulated by Zhengzhou Whaleverse Interactive Entertainment Co., Ltd.. It explains how we collect, use, store, share and protect your information when you download, register and use this Application.
This Policy complies with the Google Play Developer Policies, EU GDPR, US COPPA and local personal information protection laws and regulations.

By downloading, accessing, registering and using the Application, you voluntarily agree to all terms herein and consent to our processing of your information in accordance with this Policy. If you disagree with any clause of this Policy, please stop downloading and using the Application immediately.

I. Age Requirement & Minor Protection
- Eligible Users: This Application is exclusively for users aged 18 and above. Minors under 18 are prohibited from accessing, registering or using this Application. Using the Application means you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
- Age Verification: We adopt Google official Age Signals API for age identification. We will not actively collect your date of birth, ID documents or other sensitive age-related information.
- Data Handling for Minors: We will not intentionally collect or use any personal information of minors. If we confirm that we have unintentionally obtained data from users under 18, we will permanently delete all relevant data within 7 working days and restrict the corresponding device from accessing this Application again. Guardians of minors may apply for data deletion via the contact information stated in this Policy.
- Compliance: This Application strictly complies with the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and does not provide services to children under 13. If the system identifies a user as a minor, personalized ads will be automatically disabled and the Advertising ID (AAID) will be suspended.
II. Information We Collect
We only collect information necessary for the normal operation of the game, account security, service optimization, advertisement delivery and data statistics. We clearly specify collected items and corresponding purposes, and distinguish transient data and persistently stored data.
(1) Account Information
Collected Content: Account name, account password, login status, unique user UID, login Token.
Purpose: Account login, server identity verification, automatic reconnection after disconnection, game progress synchronization and storage.
Compliance Note: We will not store your password in plain text in local PlayerPrefs. Only short-term login Token and refresh credentials are retained locally with encryption.
(2) Mobile Phone Number & Verification Code
Collected Content: Mobile phone number, security code, SMS verification code.
Purpose: Account registration, identity verification for cross-device login, prevention of account theft and malicious abuse.
Compliance Note: Providing a mobile phone number is optional and not a mandatory requirement for using this Application.
(3) Device Identifier
Collected Content: Unique device ID (DeviceId).
Purpose: Device identification, login security verification, verification for new device login, risk control and troubleshooting via operation logs.
Compliance Note: This Application no longer reads permanent hardware identifiers such as IMEI. Instead, we use a randomly generated installation ID after the app is installed. This ID will be reset after the application is uninstalled or reset to protect user privacy.
(4) Basic Device Information
Collected Content: Device manufacturer, device model, system type, channel type, client version.
Purpose: Device compatibility check, login security verification, game version adaptation and troubleshooting.
Compliance Note: We no longer collect user-defined device names to protect privacy, and only retain essential device diagnostic fields.
(5) Network Information
Collected Content: Public network IP address, real network address (realIp).
Purpose: Login security verification, network diagnosis, prevention of traffic fraud and game cheating, judgment of network lines and user regions.
Compliance Note: In subsequent versions, the client will stop actively uploading IP fields, and the network address will be obtained uniformly by the server.
(6) Game Behavior & Statistical Data
Collected Content: Level progress, level pass/failure records, gold coin quantity, weapon level, total play duration, ad completion records, in-app purchase behavior, control methods and function usage records.
Purpose: Game experience optimization, operational data analysis, troubleshooting and reward distribution for watched ads.
Compliance Note: Sensitive personal information such as account name, mobile phone number and device ID will not be embedded in tracking event names or parameters.
(7) User-Generated Content
Collected Content: Player custom level data, level names, in-game nickname, player ID, like records, report records and level play records.
Purpose: Level sharing, leaderboard and content list display, illegal content review and community interaction operation.
Compliance Note: Nicknames and custom level names will be filtered for sensitive words, limited in length and reviewed by the server. Such content may be publicly displayed within the game. Please do not disclose personal sensitive information when posting content.
(8) Crash & Diagnostic Data
Collected Content: Application operating performance data, program error logs and crash logs.
Purpose: Troubleshooting, version iteration and program optimization.
(9) Advertising Related Data
Collected Content: We integrate Google Mobile Ads SDK. The SDK may collect Advertising ID (AAID), basic device information, approximate location and ad interaction data. All rules shall be subject to the official specifications of Google SDK.
Purpose: In-game ad display, ad performance attribution, ad frequency control and reward distribution for rewarded ads.
(10) Third-party Statistical Data
Collected Content: Application version, in-game economic data, ad events, device information and session analysis data (collected by Unity Analytics).
Purpose: Operational analysis, application stability monitoring and game experience optimization.
Compliance Note: We will continuously evaluate the necessity of third-party statistical tools. We may disable Unity Analytics and adopt lightweight self-developed data tracking according to compliance requirements.
(11) Data Storage Form
- Transient Data: IP address and real-time operation data are only temporarily processed in device memory during network requests, and will be cleared immediately after the request ends, without permanent cloud storage.
- Persistent Data: Basic device information, account UID, game progress, prop data, nickname and encrypted login credentials will be stored on local devices and our cloud servers for account synchronization and continuous game services.
(12) Advertising ID Permission
For Android 13 and above systems, this Application declares AD_ID permission in strict accordance with system specifications. You may disable or reset the Advertising ID in your mobile privacy settings. After disabling, we will no longer deliver personalized ads based on the Advertising ID.
III. Purposes of Using Your Information
We only use the collected information for the following legitimate purposes, and will not use your personal information beyond the agreed scope:
- Operate, maintain, update and optimize this Application to ensure the normal use of basic game functions;
- Analyze player behavior data to optimize game gameplay, graphics, performance and user experience;
- Deliver personalized advertisements or general content in accordance with rules (if applicable);
- Comply with laws and regulations, and respond to legitimate inquiries and requirements from regulatory and judicial authorities.
IV. Information Sharing, Data Retention, Security Protection, Data Cross-Border Transmission & Third-Party SDKs
(1) Information Sharing
We will not sell your personal information to any third party. To ensure normal service delivery, we may share non-sensitive data with compliant third-party service providers and partners who provide hosting, data analysis and advertising services. All partners shall comply with this Privacy Policy and global privacy laws.
(2) Data Retention Rules
We set clear retention periods for different types of data. Data will be desensitized or deleted automatically upon expiration:
- Account & core game data (account info, game progress, props, play records): Retained while your account is active. After account cancellation, all user data (except security logs required by law) will be permanently deleted within 15 working days.
- Device, advertising and general statistics data: Retained for 90 days for data analysis and troubleshooting, and deleted automatically upon expiration.
- Crash logs & diagnostic data: Retained for 30 days only for bug fixes, and completely cleared upon expiration.
- Legally required data: Data required for judicial investigation or regulatory supervision will be retained in accordance with legal time limits.
(3) Security Protection
We adopt industry-standard encryption technology, access permission control, server security protection and other technical and management measures to protect your personal information and prevent data leakage, tampering and loss.
The internet environment cannot be absolutely secure, and we cannot fully avoid risks caused by malicious attacks from third parties. In case of a data security incident, we will notify affected users as soon as possible and report to the regulatory authorities in accordance with regulations.
(4) Cross-Border Data Transmission
The servers of this Application are located in 【Server Location]. Part of your game data and device information may be transmitted across borders. We have adopted encryption, desensitization and other protective measures to ensure that overseas data recipients maintain the same level of privacy protection.
(5) List of Third-Party SDKs
This Application integrates the following compliant third-party SDKs. The data processing rules of each SDK are as follows:
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Provided by Google for in-game ad display. It collects Advertising ID, device information, approximate location and ad interaction data for ad delivery and performance statistics. Personalized ads and Advertising ID will be automatically disabled if a minor user is identified.
- Unity Analytics: Provided by Unity for game data analysis, performance monitoring and behavior statistics. It collects application version, device, session and game progress data only for product optimization.
- Crash Diagnostic SDK: Collects application crash and runtime error data. Sensitive information such as mobile numbers and accounts will be automatically desensitized, and the data is only used for bug fixes.
(6) Ad Authorization & Opt-out Method
- Users in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK and Switzerland: A compliance authorization pop-up window (UMP) will appear when you launch the Application for the first time. You may choose whether to accept personalized ads, and we will strictly follow your choice.
- Global Users: You may turn off the Advertising ID via System Settings → Privacy → Ads. After disabling, you will no longer receive personalized ads and only see general advertisements.
V. Updates to This Privacy Policy
- We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will not reduce your legal rights without your explicit consent.
- Policy changes will be posted on the official page of this Policy first. In case of material changes (service mode, data processing method, data sharing partners, user rights, security responsibilities, high data security risks, etc.), we will send prominent notifications via in-app push, pop-up windows or emails, and request your explicit consent when you log in for the first time after update.
- If you continue to use the Application, click "Agree" or "Next" after receiving the update notice, it means you have read, understood and accepted the revised Privacy Policy.
